AI-native Technical Product Lead

Fractional & advisory product leadership

For teams that need senior product judgment but not a full-time hire - as an advisor, embedded, or interim lead. The job is product decisions - what to build, what to kill, in what order - and owning them. My own work runs on AI agents, so a fraction of the hours delivers senior-level work.

How it works
  • Advisorya few hours / month

Async plus a recurring call. Strategy and prioritization: which bets to make, what to ignore, what to test before it gets expensive. You keep ownership; I sharpen the decisions.

  • Embedded~10-15h / month

Part of the team. I own a slice of the roadmap, run discovery, and build prototypes alongside your devs. Best for 0→1.

  • Interimfixed term

Higher intensity. I hold head-of-product while you hire - keep the roadmap moving, set process, help interview the permanent person, then hand off.

When it fits

Good fit

  • Seed through growth stage - or interim cover at any stage.
  • You're doing product yourself and stretched.
  • You need someone who can both set strategy and build the MVP.
  • You see where AI should cut time in your product work, and nobody owns making that happen.
  • You need interim cover during a transition.

Not a fit

  • You need a full-time CPO in the building five days a week - hire one, I'll help you scope the role.
  • You want a done-for-you dev shop.
  • You want AI as a label, not a method.

If it's not a fit, I'll tell you on the first call.

What you get
  • Product decisions with the reasoning written down - what to build, what to kill, in what order.
  • Discovery that kills bad bets before you build them.
  • A prioritized roadmap and the metrics to check it against.
  • Working prototypes and MVP slices you can put in front of users.
  • An AI-agent workflow your team keeps after I leave.
  • A role spec and interview help for your permanent product hire.
Background
  • Product roles

CPO 0→1 at an early-stage startup. Before that, live products at scale at Tinkoff and EPAM: product decisions, feature and platform teams. Nine years in tech overall - web development, then engineering management, then product.

  • MERIDIAN

The product I'm building now: strategy, PRD, a 27-screen design system, a clickable prototype. The decisions behind it are documented, including why I killed the previous product. Read the write-up →

  • Unicorn Embassy

Founded it and ran it as a multi-country launch: 180+ events across 9 cities in 7 countries, zero paid acquisition. Full case →

Founding clients

No client cases here yet - the service is new, and I'm not going to invent any. The work above is the track record. The first one or two clients come in on founding terms: a lower starting price in exchange for a case study and a reference.

How it starts
  1. A 30-minute call, free. We spend it on your product; if it's not a fit, I'll say so.
  2. I send a one-page scope: format, deliverables, price. Scope and price are agreed on the call and fixed in writing before we start.
  3. We start, usually within a week.

This page is for information only and is not an offer or professional advice. Real work runs under a separate written agreement - scope and price agreed before we start. I bring the judgment; you own the call, and I do not guarantee a particular outcome. Terms.

FAQ

What's the difference between fractional, interim, and advisory product leadership?

Advisory is a few hours a month - strategy and judgment, you keep ownership. Embedded (fractional) is around 10-15 hours a month as part of the team, owning a slice of the roadmap and building. Interim is a fixed full-intensity term holding head-of-product while you hire.

When should I hire a full-time product lead instead?

When product is the daily core of the company and you need someone in the building five days a week. Fractional covers senior judgment on part-time hours; it does not replace a full-time leader at scale. If that is where you are, I'll help you scope the role and interview candidates.

Where are you based, and can you work remotely?

I'm based in Yerevan and work remotely across Europe and beyond. Open to relocating in Europe for the right full-time role.
